Stevie Mezní, MSW

Hi, I’m Stevie (they/them), a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW). I identify as a queer therapist and provide affirming care for LGBTQIA+ clients. I work with teens (15+), young adults, and adults navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, ADHD, and relationship challenges. I help people reconnect with who they are beneath survival strategies, shame, and expectations, and build a life that feels more stable, intentional, and aligned.
My work integrates DBT, ACT, Motivational Interviewing, and EMDR. I am certified in DBT and trained in EMDR, and I balance practical skill building with deeper trauma work based on what you need. I offer DBT coaching and group work to help build real world tools for emotional regulation, relationships, and managing ADHD. I also work with couples and families on a self-pay basis, focusing on communication, conflict, and building more functional, secure relationships.
I approach therapy through an attachment and trauma informed lens. I don’t just focus on symptoms—I look at the patterns underneath them; especially how past experiences shape the way you relate to yourself and others. Sessions with me are direct, collaborative, and grounded. I will challenge patterns that keep you stuck, while also making sure you feel supported enough to do something different.
