The counselors, psychologists and social workers at River City Psychological Services provide both short-term and long-term psychotherapy for adults, adolescents, and children. We also offer couple’s and family therapy. Our clinicians have had advanced training and experience working with concerns related to trauma, abuse survivors, depression and anxiety, relationship concerns, grief, LGBTQIA+ concerns, and the intersection of psychological and faith/spirituality concerns. We also provide supervision, consultation, and therapy to mental health practitioners.
Psychotherapy offers people the working space needed to gain insight into their relational and behavioral patterns. In the collaborative relationship with a psychotherapist, people have the opportunity to explore where these patterns come from and how they are maintained. The insight gained in psychotherapy allows people to gain strength and freedom to make decisions about whether to change and begin new ways of being.

Please take the time to read and complete the forms assigned to your Client Portal after you speak to our intake specialist prior to your first session. Taking the time to fully read and complete these forms prior to our meeting will allow us to have more time to focus on your needs and experiences. We encourage you to fill out this paperwork with the name, pronouns, and gender identity you feel comfortable using. The only area we will require a legal name would be on the signature portions for legal purposes.
