Kerry Beduna, PhD
Sometimes we need to be reminded that struggling does not mean that we are weak, broken, or unworthy- it just means that we could use some extra help. It helps to connect with someone who knows that your story is worth listening to. Kerry (she/her) is empathic and engaging and allows your story to be heard and valued without judgment. By providing a safe environment, she helps people develop compassion for how their past and current experiences have impacted them and explore new ways of being, thinking, and feeling.
Kerry believes that it is the strength of the therapeutic relationship and the goals you create together which builds meaningful change. She tailors her approach to each individual’s strengths and incorporates CBT, interpersonal, and person- centered techniques. She aims to help individuals work towards self-awareness, self-acceptance, healthy emotional expression, and increased connection and meaning in their lives.

Kerry is a licensed psychologist and is originally from the Indianapolis area. She completed her Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology at Ball State University. Kerry has worked at university counseling centers, including Ball State University and Grand Valley State University.
