I (she/her) embrace a collaborative and individualized approach to therapy, integrating interpersonal process, cognitive behavioral techniques, trauma-informed practices, and somatic experiencing to support clients. With advanced training in DBT skills education, trauma treatment, suicide risk assessment, and group therapy, I help individuals navigate life's complexities.

I believe that the counseling journey should be a partnership where we explore patterns of thinking, relating, and behaving that may no longer be useful. With support and encouragement in a safe environment, change is possible. One of my favorite quotes is: “Can you remember who you were before the world told you who to be?” I believe many struggles arise from living out of sync with our true selves, and it is my passion to help individuals reconnect with their authentic selves while addressing challenges that arise along the way.

I assist people with finding balance and managing challenges effectively. My practice covers a wide array of concerns including trauma, relationship difficulties, anxiety, depression, self-esteem issues, stress, life transitions, and motivation. I provide assessments for learning disabilities, ADHD evaluations, intellectual (IQ), and personality testing. Testing often complements the therapeutic process, helping to pinpoint each person's unique needs for their journey. Testing can enhance one’s understanding of themselves and assist with identifying the most helpful course of treatment. I typically work with individuals aged 14 and above, fostering a nurturing space for growth.

I bring a decade of experience from diverse settings, including acute inpatient hospitals, the department of corrections, intensive outpatient, and private practice. My work spans individuals with serious mental illnesses and those in crisis, demonstrating my ability to adapt and respond to varying needs. Creativity is integral to my approach. Outside of work, I find joy in the outdoors, spending quality time with my partner and two dogs, traveling, practicing yoga, and making pottery.

Together, we can embark on a journey of self-discovery and healing. Let’s explore the path to your authentic self!
