Zita Hardenberg, MA

Therapy can be an opportunity to improve your insight into personal roadblocks and regain a sense of balance. Zita Hardenberg believes that her role is to accompany you during this process and help you navigate through life’s challenges. You will find her approach to be genuine and person-centered.

Zita has a special interest working with people who struggle with depression, anxiety, stress, and life changes. She is also particularly interested in working with young adults as they work on their development of identity and purpose. Zita’s goal is to support you and help strengthen your coping skills. She strives to help you as you rediscover your strengths in a safe, non-judgmental environment.

While Zita’s approach is both person-centered and cognitive-behavioral based, she believes that no two people are alike. She will work with you to create the most effective support and treatment

on an individual basis.

Zita earned her Bachelor’s degree in 2006 from Spring Arbor University focusing on Family Life Education. Shortly after, Zita returned to school to pursue her Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology and graduated from Western Michigan University in 2011. Since then, Zita has been practicing individual and group therapy working with individuals struggling with anxiety, depression and behavioral challenges.
